The wilderness log lodge offers a warm and welcoming retreat—a place where travelers naturally gather to share good company and memorable moments. Perched along the edge of the Chilko River, the lodge and guest cabins are thoughtfully situated to showcase sweeping views of the river, the broad valley, and the rugged Coast Mountains.
Inside, the lodge features a cozy dining area and a great room anchored by a grand stone fireplace. A fully stocked bar with beer, wine, and spirits invites easy conversation, while outside you’ll find a Jacuzzi, a barbecue area, and expansive decks designed for taking in the Majestic scenery, Chilko has to offer. It’s the perfect setting to enjoy a drink with friends, dive into a lively card game, soak in the hot tub as the river flows below, or step onto the deck to marvel at a sky filled with millions of stars. And, of course, there’s always the option to settle beside the roaring fire and share the best stories from the day’s adventures.
Our lodging was beautiful, our bed was so comfortable and the views from our cabin did not disappoint. The food was outstanding,
Jennifer B.
Meals are freshly prepared by our chef and enjoyed family‑style in the heart of the lodge. Each day begins and ends with everyone gathered around the table, sharing a delicious breakfast or dinner filled with lively conversation and plenty of laughter.
We proudly continue the tradition of an open kitchen, where guests can watch their meals come to life—sizzling pans, fresh ingredients, and mouth‑watering aromas drifting through the lodge and teasing the appetite.
Breakfast features a hearty Canadian spread: bacon and eggs, home‑fried potatoes, pancakes, and an assortment of fresh fruits, cereals, and yogurts. Lunch is enjoyed wherever the day takes you—beside a sparkling stream, atop a mountain ridge, or nestled in a quiet corner of the wilderness.
Dinner is a cherished time of day. As everyone gathers to unwind, the table fills with vibrant salads, perfectly cooked meats, warm breads, comforting pastas, and tempting desserts. Wine is poured, stories flow, and the warm glow of the lodge sets the tone for an evening to remember.
Another favorite gathering place is our fully stocked bar nestled inside the lodge. It’s the perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine or a handcrafted cocktail while enjoying the delicious appetizers prepared by our in‑house chef. The bar offers a generous selection of spirits, local and imported beers, and carefully chosen wines. If you have a special request, just let us know—when possible, we’re happy to bring it in for you.
As the evening winds down and the fire settles into a warm glow, you can stroll back to your private lodge accommodations, relaxed and ready for another beautiful day at Tsylos.
We started the week with the Tsylos staff being strangers, and ended the week feeling like they were family. I would highly recommend Tsylos!
Happy Traveler
We accommodate up to 14 guests in our cozy log cabins and comfortable lodge suites. Each unit is designed for two people and features a private bathroom, plush beds dressed in Egyptian‑cotton sheets and soft duvets, and either a gas fireplace or a traditional wood‑burning stove to keep you warm on cool mountain evenings. Daily maid service ensures your room stays fresh, tidy, and stocked with clean towels throughout your stay.
When you join us for one of our lodge‑stay packages—whether River Fly Fishing, Lodge Horseback Riding, or Grizzly Bear Photography—you and your group will be assigned cabins or suites based on availability. Our lodge operates differently from a hotel: instead of reserving specific rooms, we thoughtfully match guests to accommodations that best suit their needs, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and well cared for during their Canadian adventure vacation.
