Our mountain horseback excursions offer you a number of options for a one week, two week, or three week vacation. You can choose a one week trip or you can choose a fourteen night trip, taking advantage of experiencing both the Goat Camp and Potato Range trips. You can also combine a one week horse pack trip with a week at the lodge enhancing your horse riding vacation. Regardless of which horse adventure you choose, they all offer excellent riding, great horse trails, well trained horses, small groups and spectacular scenery.

Traveling by horseback and camping out in the mountains holds deep roots in the Chilcotin heritage. For sixty years and counting, the McLean’s have traveled and explored these mountains by horse back and upheld this noble tradition.
Our herd of strong and beautiful horses are born and raised in the Chilcotin. They are sure-footed mountain horses that are cheerful and willing, a noble companion on your adventure.

The Crackling Of A Campfire, Tasty Meals, A Glass Of Wine And A Cozy Tent, It’s All You Really Need!
Our campfire gourmet meals are prepared over an open fire and are delicious and plentiful. Freshly prepared salads, meats, pastas, and vegetables are prepared daily and cooked over the open fire. Everything is packed with us on our steady pack horses.
We also take a mini bar which is chosen prior to leaving the lodge. It is beautiful to get to camp after a gorgeous ride for the day, get your home away from home set up, the horses staked out, and enjoy a glass of wine while dinner sizzles over the campfire. Our horse pack trips are a great way to reconnect with nature.
