There is a good population of mature bull moose in our hunting
area. Moose hunts are conducted by horseback, foot or by boat. The countryside that we
hunt moose in is alpine valley bottoms, rolling hills, marshy ponds and open plateau
meadows. Even though Shiras Moose do not reach 60" spread very often, we were able to
produce a few. Avererage spreads are in the 50" range. The moose hunts may be
combined with Mule Deer hunting as well. We do not take very many moose hunters, ensuring
that our camps are never over-used and never used twice in one season.
