Ts'yl-os Lodge Park Lodge Frequently Asked Questions
Where do we stay?
Our main lodge has 4 rooms that sleep 2 each; we have 3 log cabins that sleep 6, 4, and 3. All rooms and cabins have private bathrooms with shower, toilet, sink, fresh towels and the cabins have a wood stove or heater unit. The lodge and our cabins are handmade with local logs. There is daily maid service at the lodge. We are a very humble lodge, but very comfortable!

Where do we eat?
Our wonderful home cooked meals are served family style in the main lodge; a great time to hear about everyone's daily adventures. Big Canadian breakfasts and dinners are eaten together. Our guests take their lunch with them, on the river, up the lake, out on their ride or wherever their travels have taken them.

Where are you located from the water and horse trails?
The lodge property is along the banks of the Chilko River and about a quarter mile from the start of Chilko Lake. The area is a never-ending network of horse, cattle, and game trails. The view from the back patio is of the beautiful river and the surrounding mountains.

How far are we from the airstrip?
Our airstrip at Chilko Lake is about 1/2 mile from the lodge and we will pick you up Who goes to this lodge? We are very lucky at Tsylos Park Lodge...our guests are wonderful people who enjoy the outdoors and the activities that we offer. We have a mixture of countries represented and a wide range of ages. Singles, couples, friends and business groups all feel comfortable in our lodge and feel apart of things right away.

What if some of us Fly Fish and some want to horseback ride?
No problem. The guests at the lodge have breakfast together and then head out with their guides. Many couples and groups have some that spend the day on the river, while the others horseback ride; everyone meets up later in the day to enjoy the evening meal together.
