The McLeans have been the licensed Big Game Guides for the Chilko
Lake area since 1957 and are the only licensed outfitter for the entire west side of
Ts’yl-os Provincial Park as well as the northern Chilko Watershed. The McLean family,
now in their second generation at Chilko Lake, run a very efficient, high quality hunting
operation providing knowledgeable and experienced guides, excellent cooks, and an
exceptional string of mountain bred saddle and pack horses. 75% of the exclusive hunting
territory is true wilderness with no road access and virtually no hunting pressure. The
McLeans take pride in their ability to produce results for you, the hunter. All hunts are
fair chase only. Guiding and Outfitting is our only business and not a sideline. Upon
request we will supply a list of hunters who have hunted with us on recent hunts. |
